Improve Writing Skills Easily

Writing skills were giving me a hard time, I thought, as I waswalking down my office with a heavy face and some one almost bumpedinto me and carried on, I was feeling "what thef@#$.............?"

The guy actually turned back, and I recognized the familiar face.He used to go to high school with me and even copied my paper in 9thgrade. I found out later that he is the marketing manager for a verybig company,

Huge turnaround huh?

We walked into the nearest cafe and I poured my heart out with myproblems with writing skills affecting good reports and getting itfrom my managers, he winked at me and said that good writing skill isone of the easiest things to develop. Like a eager student I askedhim " What is the Secret?" I did have good language but itsome how failed to appeal to my managers.

He taught me some simple tricks using which my reports became themost sought after ones in the office coz the managers loved it, thedirector loved it too. It made absolute sense to all the top people.

One of the things my friend told me was a very simple but powerfulsecret. It is so simple and after he told it, I realized how hisschool days had helped him rise up the bar so faster than me, thoughI had better grades than him....

Well this is what he did. He asked when was the last time I wrotesome thing? I said last week. Then, he gave me a check list to checkmy writing against. Then, he slowly began to unwind his mastersecret.

After he had gathered all sources for his writing, he just wentthru all the old reports these managers had written. He found out themost commonly use words and he sprinkled it all in his writing. Thiswas his big writing skillssecret!!!!!

The effect.......his writing suddenly seems to be spring above allthe other reports. Those who read it felt like they have written it,seems familiar.....and theyloved it. What a great way to attract and build rapport. It's sosubtle almost unconscious but so very powerful. See it is so simpleto impress others with your writing skills.

Now you may say that this is so simple but next time you arestuck, just try this one and trust me it works like magic.

Now that you know the best trick in writing your papers, lets moveon to the next simple rule that can multiply your power as a goodcommunicator.

Ok now think of the last paper you wrote. Maybe in high school, orin college or in your work place. All of us know those boring classeswe attended was not of much use but we still have to go thru thegrind yeah? and we can improve our rusty writing skills using thesetechniques yeah?

Depending on where you are at this time in your life, go ahead andtry this one and be sure to let me know what happens. If you comeacross another great secret like this let me know and I will put yourname and picture and give you a following of admirers.

Looking back at your life can you think of one time when uactually got what you had thought of often? It may not have been whatu wanted but u thought of it so often, may be telling yourself that"no I don't want that to happen..."or some thing like that;I can only guess what would have happened. Whateveryou did not want to happen actually did happen!!! Now, how isthis connected to writing skills? you ask....in a minute......

You know why? Coz your brain can do exactly what you tell it todo. When u said "don't" it hears it as do- not, so heycan't blame it can you? so why don't you take a piece of paper ritenow and here and jot down 10 linesabout yourself when you are done......just go thru the checklist below.....and yes......cheating wont help you in anyway inimproving your writing skills.

Checklist

1. Check the number of times you have you have written the word I?

2. What is the overall picture you paint?

3. Is it consistent with the main theme?

4. If you read it after 3 days will it still make sense to you?

5. If you handed it down to stranger will it make sense?

Now I don't have to tell you the implications of the answers or doI?
