I'm running a Contest for Good Stories/Tips on Communication Skills. If you have a flair for for writing or simply a great story to share, enter the contest. Your story will be read by thousands of visitors and who knows Readers Digest might even discover you?

Your articles can be about Developing Communication Skills, Stories of Leadership, Your Own Tryst with Public Speaking or just Any topic which lies around Self Improvement.

Your story will be judged on the Originality (this will be checked), Content and the the Impact it has on others. With about 12000 visitors, be ready to be judged by people who are looking for help!!! If you give helpful advice on how to develop communication skills, you get brownie points for being helpful to others. Refer to terms and conditions before you enter the contest. The Contest will run till 30th June.

If you feel writing is too difficult, try these simple tips to ease your fear

1. Don't try to be Hemmingway, Keep it in simple everyday language.
2. Write as if you are telling a story to your best friend or small kid, use pictures or cartoons if you want to illustrate a point.
3. You can have your own style and still maintain English Grammar, but be open for a bit of editing.
4. Min word length should be 500. No max limit.
5. Relax and let your creative Juices Flow. No one call tell a good story unless they are relaxed.

Writing a Good Story is like dancing, when you move your body, you find the rhythm, same way when you feel the main emotion in your story and let the words flow out, you will find your flow. don't be limited by rammer, first you follow the heart and write it and then you edit, you can never do justice to your creativity by censoring it with laws of Grammar.
